Organics, Textures, and Detailing: The Art of Foamwork

Class Description: Hungry to give your armor and foamwork projects a more detailed flare? Texturizing your cosplay project is a fantastic way to breathe life into a flat material, and in this class we’ll touch on numerous different ways to add layers and textures to eva foam for a more complex look. Students will have the chance to try out woodburning tools, stamps, scoring, and molds, followed by a more organic approach as we learn the tricks to sculpting with foam clay.
