An immersive weekend of classes, vendors, inspiration, and getting to meet or hang out with like-minded people! Sew Magical hosts an array of sewing and crafting events curated specifically for creatives. From immersive 3-day expos with tons of classes and vendors to cruises for relaxation and creativity.

Discounted room rates are available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please make sure you are booking through the direct link located under the Expo you’re attending to be sure you are getting the correct rate. If the room block is sold out, you are still able to book at Gaylord without a discounted rate or find sleeping arrangements nearby. If more rooms become available, they will be added to the block and a notice will be sent out via our email and social media channels.

SME Attendees receive a 50% discount on current self-parking rates. Please check the website of the Gaylord you will be visiting for the most current rates for Texas, Tennessee , Florida. If you are staying at the Gaylord and have booked through the SME discounted room rate your parking will be included in your room bill and the discount will be automatically applied. If you are staying elsewhere please make sure to get a discount card from the check-in desk daily.

Each Sew Magical Expo hosts over 50 hands-on classes in the 3-day event. Presentations & Demos are held on The Stage and are available to most ticket types. Sew Magical at Sea typically holds 4-8 classes depending on the length of cruise. -Information on classes offered can be found here for TX TN FL -Information on when class sign-ups will be available will be posted in the Facebook Group.

Information on class kits will be on each shows class information page once they are finalized. There is also a video on our YouTube channel here to answer the most frequently asked questions. Keep in mind that the classes in the video are from Florida’s 2022 SME.

Vendors will vary at each show. For a list of vendors coming to each show check each locations page for a list.

There are exchanges and meet-ups at each show. Information on these can be found in the Facebook Group. There will also be a page on the website for each location giving descriptions of each meet-up or exchange that will be happening once they are finalized.

Anyone in the SMAS group will have access to several classes, exchanges, parties, swag bags, and more! You can travel with a crafting buddy, or bring your family to share in this fun-filled vacation! You can find all the applications to teach, vend, even volunteer at Get Involved. All apps, except Teacher applications, are open until 1 month prior to each SME event. The Teacher form indicates, for each event, when the application is due.

If you are unable to attend SME, you are able to sell your ticket to someone else. Please go to the Tickets for Sale and post what ticket type, how many you have available, and what you’re asking for them. Once tickets are sold please email support@sewmagicalexpo.com to initiate a ticket transfer.

We currently offer clothing, fabrics, magnet needle minders/pins, and, of course, duckies! We are also planning to expand the offerings we have available for swag so keep an eye out for that. You can purchase your swag on the website, when available, and there will be a swag booth set up at all shows.
