Face the Floof: Make a Petticoat

Class Description: A petticoat is a layer that goes underneath a ball gown or skirt that adds volume to your costume. In this class you will learn different ways to gather fabric, finish the hem of a petticoat and add a waistband. You will make one layer of a scaled down petticoat to learn the techniques and apply them to your very own ball gown petticoat at home.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Required Skills: Basic sewing machine knowledge

Other Supplies Needed: Basic sewing machine, ruffle foot and rolled hem foot if possible
