Fabric Layering Techniques

Class Description: This class will teach you how to layer materials to create texture and dimension in faster way than just hand stitching. Learn how to do applique and reverse applique with a satin stitch finish, how to flatline fabric, how to use the free motion feature to apply and layer trim.

Class Kit: $30, includes all materials required

Skill Level: Intermediate

Required Skills: Very comfortable with a sewing machine

Other Supplies Needed: Sewing machine with ability to drop feed dogs and a close zip-zag stitch (or satin stitch), fabric scissors, snip or thread scissors

Age Restriction: 16 years and older
