Color Theory for Crafty Entrepreneurs

Class Description: Are you Ready to Level Up your design skills? In this workshop you will be learning Fashion Color Theory to discover how fashion designers create seasonal releases. You will learn how to create cohesive & eye-appealing looks and how print color works in your designs. By the end of this workshop, you’ll have created a Color Story Board for your own seasonal release. Genavieve will be sharing how to find upcoming fashion trends and consumer search tips and tricks from Pinterest, Etsy, and the fashion design industry. Anyone who has a crafty business or who is looking to start one can benefit from this workshop. You’ll leave with your Color Theory Workbook, Color Story Board, and a better understanding of how to make your creations pop off your shelves and sell by using Color Theory.

Skill Level: Beginner

Required Skills: Basic understanding of Primary Colors

Class Length: 1.5 hours

Class Kit: $50, Color Theory for Crafty Entrepreneur Workbook (digital workbook will be sent as well), Foam Board, and Color Wheel. Colored Pencils & Glue Sticks will be supplied as well for each table.

Other Supplies Needed (To be brought by the student): Internet access w/ Phone or Laptop/Tablet, Scissors (for paper cutting), 2-3 magazines to share, fabric swatches if you have a specific style in mind

Age Restriction: Any person between the age of 8-10 must be supervised by an adult at all times. Children (non-adult tickets) are available to any person between the age of 8 and 17.
