English Paper Piecing 101 – Travel Kit

We will be learning the basics of English Paper Piecing (EPP) using hexagons to make a travel tool for EPP. This portable and precise technique will provide you with the ability to create hexagons and sew them together by hand, including proper use of a thimble, enabling you to piece for hours! Learn different methods for putting your hexagons together, how to hide your fabric tails and achieve professional results in your sewing. You will finish the class with the confidence to apply EPP to your favorite patterns. The travel kit can be finished at home and will allow you to carry your EPP items with you wherever you may travel.

Class Kit: Fabric for hexagons, paper pieces, thread, needles, wool, wonder clip, pvc pipe, ribbon, and thread magic.

Other Supplies Needed: Cutting scissors, thimble. If you do not have a thimble, you can come and have one fitted to borrow for class at the booth of Thimbles For You.
