DIY Wax Your Own Canvas – Saturday

Ever had trouble finding a specific color of Waxed Canvas for the bag you are making? Don’t want to wait weeks for your order to come in? In this class, students will learn the process of waxing their own canvas from start to finish, keeping all dedicated materials for future use!

Class Kit: Kit provided to all students will include (student keeps ALL items): Miniature electric crock pot, Electric clothing iron, one half yard Canvas, paraffin and beeswax (enough to complete more than one application), Pure Bristle Chip Brush, Vinyl Gloves and 22×44 Bath Towel (for ironing on).

Skill Level: Beginner

Required Skills: Use of an Iron and minimum crock pot knowledge!

Other Supplies Needed: Optional: Apron and extra Bath Towel
